An original, solid brass, Japanese Lifeboat Binnacle compass,
with its oil burner & font.
The compass has a very detailed card, liquid dampened, and made of
heavy cast brass.
There are also two azimuth scales stamped into the brass face from
0-180 on both port and starboard sides, used as a quick guide for turning to various
angles from the present heading.
In excellent, like new condition.
