An original matched pair of solid brass gimbaled cabin lanterns.

THE PERKIND MARINE LAMP CO
The perko trademark was registered in 1916, & where
the "Rays of Light" are not included in the trademark on the lanterns
were made between 1916 & 1921
This is a truly museum quality pair of the
Perkins quality of work, who not only made lanterns for
their own line but for other companies as well.
Each unit is a huge
15" high x 8 1/2" deep x 5 1/2" wide
Made to mount to a cabin wall, with the ability to have the burner
slip out of the wall mount for refilling.
Complete with a glass chimney,(not original but custom fit)

"PERKO GIMBALED CABIN LANTERN WITH SMOKE BELL"

A very rare, Perko wall mount, gimbaled cabin lantern with smoke bell.
Another very rare Perko, Circa 1916-1921 without
the "Rays of Light" in the logo.
Such lanterns are available from time to time however
it is quite rare to have a upper mount smoke bell included.
A museum quality item not normally found these days.
100% original, fully functional with a new glass chimney.
