A Beautiful, early 20th century, solid cast
bronze,
double wing nut porthole window.
Very heavy casting, and in excellent condition
for its age.
The glass is 100% original and of an unusual
1 1/4" thick!!!
14" in total diameter x 4 1/4" deep
including wing nuts.
Glass window 9 1/2" diameter.
Weighting a very hefty
21 pounds

A very old, rustic , stationary mount, and
somewhat unusual
Wrought Iron Porthole.
Most portholes were made of brass or bronze,
however this one is wrought iron
with a nice aged patina sealed with varnish.
The item has a nice weathered look and
is still in excellent
condition for its age.
