COMMEMORATIVE DISH

A fine 1958 vintage, hand colored, piece of fine china to commemorate
the maiden voyage of Moore-McCormack Lines sister ships,
THE S.S. ARGENTINA & S.S. BRASIL.
These dishes were made in limited quantities and
given out only to those aboard the Maiden Voyage.
The dish above depicts the S.S. Brasil.
(spelled as shown/Brasil , not Brazil)
Moore McCormack Lines was based in the Bay Ridge Section
of Brooklyn, New York with their main berth @ 23rd Street,
in the Gowanus Bay/Canal.
A very nice collectible in like new condition
dated 1958.
