French Line Ships to be delivered to New York and then
forwarded to Baltimore, MD.
From the steamship "Lafayette" to the "Rochambeau"
on the 24th of May, 1932 @ 1620 hours.
To Dr. Harry Knipp
"All is well hope you are well to lots of love mother and daddy"

The telegram is 8 1/4" W x 10 5/8" H complete with its
original envelope.
The type has faded but is still readable and the paper is in
good condition for its age.

"CHATHAM"
on May 11th, 1932 @ 18.20 GMT
to Dr  Knipp, Baltimore, MD
Received by the Doctor May 31st, 1932
The transmission was mailed from New York
May 28th, 1932 and is complete with its original envelope
with a postmarked 2 cent stamp.

An original American Postal Telegraph sent from/to
Honolulu to a Mr. Ben Hamblin Lobdill while he was traveling
aboard various steamships.
Based on other items we recovered from this person
he traveled quite frequently to Europe, Africa
 and many other ports of call, aboard both White Star  and Union Castle Lines
during the 1930's and early 40's
